Ludwick turned down a $5 million mutual option for 2013. Previous reports suggest that the Reds offered Ludwick a two-year deal in the $6-7 million range. The details of the new deal are not yet known, although per Ken Rosenthal it is all but certain.
Told Ludwick not quite done, still finalizing terms. But barring a stunning reversal, he is heading back to #Reds.
