Layden’s report from Sunday night said Tarmoh was leaning toward not racing against Felix, though she felt in her “heart of hearts” that she had earned the third and final spot on the women’s Olympic 100 team and felt “kind of robbed.”
The race was slated to be broadcast live by NBC at 8 p.m. Monday.
Felix claimed a spot in the Olympics in the 200 on Saturday. She won silver in the 200 in both Beijing and Athens.
