Eagles Agree to Five-Year Deal With Demetrius Bell

The Philadelphia Eagles agree to a five-year contract with free agent tackle, Demetrius Bell, according to a tweet from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bell met with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers this spring before deciding to sign with the Eagles.

The 27-year-old was a seventh round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2008 but didn’t officially debut for the team until 2009. He played and started in 24 games, having three solo tackles.

    Free-agent tackle Demetrius Bell is exploring his options and will head to Green Bay this week to meet with the Packers, according to ProFootballTalk.

    Bell recently met with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers last week but is still flushing out all of his options. The 27-year-old was a seventh round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2008 but didn’t officially debut for the team until 2009.

    During his time with the Bills he played and started in 24 games. He has had three solo tackles throughout his career.
