Free-agent power-forward Yi Jianlian has officially signed with the Dallas Mavericks, according to FIBA.

Yi, a former lottery pick in the NBA draft, was left-unsigned during the league’s brief free-agency period after he injured his knee this summer while playing for the Guangdong Souther Tigers in China. Yi played just three games with the Tigers before injuring his knee when a teammate fell on him during a game.

Yi averaged 5.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in just 17.7 minutes per game for the Washington Wizards last season. Over the course of his four-year career, he has averaged 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds.

The Mavericks will be the fourth team the young forward has played for in five career seasons.
