Last week, the Washington Redskins swung a deal presumably to draft Robert Griffin III as their next franchise quarterback — now, they’re turning their attention to loading up RG3′s arsenal. The Redskins will sign Josh Morgan and Pierre Garcon, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter, while Eddie Royal could be next.

The Redskins signed Garcon to a whopper of a deal this afternoon, giving him five years and approximately $42.5 million. The former Indianapolis Colt made 70 catches for 947 yards and six touchdowns last season.

Morgan, a former San Francisco 49er, is expected to get a two-year deal in Washington. Morgan made just 15 catches for 220 yards in a 2011 season shortened by injury.

The Redskins don’t have a done deal yet with Royal, who played last season for the Denver Broncos.

Wide receiver Pierre Garcon will test the free-agent market, sources have told ESPN. The 25-year-old wide receiver was unable to come to an agreement with the Indianapolis Colts on a long-term deal.

Garcon has not ruled out a return to the Colts, however his departure appears to be part of an across the board rebuilding process by team owner Jim Irsay. The team has until 4 p.m. ET Tuesday to make a deal with Garcon before he becomes an unrestricted free-agent.

Garcon hauled in 70 receptions for six touchdowns last season despite the absence of Pro Bowl quarterback Peyton Manning.  In 2010, with Manning, Garcon had 67 receptions for 784 yards and six touchdowns.

He will join former teammate Reggie Wayne and fellow free agent Vincent Jackson as the top wide receiving free-agents this offseason.
