Veteran infielder Orlando Hudson will sign with the Chicago White Sox, according to online reports.

Hudson was released by the San Diego Padres Thursday.

Over his ten-year MLB career, Hudson has hit 91 home runs and stolen 82 bases.

The San Diego Padres have released second baseman Orlando Hudson according to the team’s official Twitter account.

Hudson had hit .211/.260/.317 in 35 games for San Diego this year. He was leading the league with five triples and had 11 RBI. Last season Hudson hit .246/.329/.352 with seven home runs and 43 RBI.

In his 11-year career he has been named an All-Star twice, and is a four-time Gold Glove winner at second base.
