Free agent forward Louis Amundson will sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year contract, FOX Sports’ Chris Tomasson reports in a tweet.

Amundson spent last year with the Indiana Pacers, and was a key reserve in the Pacers’ surprisingly strong regular season and playoff run. Amundson played in 60 regular season games but started none of them, averaging 3.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in the process.
He will likely face a tough fight for minutes, as the Timberwolves have Nikola Petkovic, Greg Stiemsma, Kevin Love and Derrick Williams at the power forward and center positions.
