Jeremy Lin has already drawn praise from practically every corner of the globe, but today he gained one more admirer — New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, who said Lin had some kind words for him after last night’s Nets win over Lin’s New York Knicks.

“I saw him in the tunnel outside the locker room after the game,” Humphries said today on ESPN Radio’s “Scott Van Pelt Show.” “He just said, ‘Hey, I don’t know why they boo you, but I think it’s crap, and you’re playing really well.’ That was nice of him to say. He’s a really nice guy. … It’s nice to see great things happen for nice people.”

Of course, Humphries is booed because of his failed 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian, but Lin was nice enough to set that aside and praise Humphries’ play.

Humphries is averaging 13.6 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for the Nets, who took down the Knicks 100-92 last night, only their second loss of the Lin era.

New Jersey Nets power forward, Kris Humphries, wants his divorce from Kim Kardashian to be televised, according to the New York Post.

Humphries and his attorney believe that a public display of the divorce would prove that Kardashian had no intention of staying married. Humphries believes his marriage to Kardashian was a publicity stunt designed to boost ratings for her reality television show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

The NBA big man has requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud, according to the Post.

This season Humphries is averaging 10 points and 10.4 rebounds per game for the New Jersey.

New Jersey Nets head coach Avery Johnson finds it “hilarious” that opposing crowds are booing power forward Kris Humphries, according to the New York Post.

“I don’t know why,” Johnson told the Post. “I’m trying to figure out, what did he do? I’m serious. Maybe because I don’t follow reality TV, I don’t know all the ins and outs of it but it’s pretty hilarious to me. I don’t know if they even know why they’re booing him.”

Humphries has been receiving flak from fans as a result of his nationally televised offseason exploits with his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The two were wed on national television Aug. 20, 2011, and filed for divorce just 72 days later.

Last week it was revealed that Humphries had surpassed LeBron James as the league’s most disliked player, according to a poll put together by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research.
