Report: Yankees’ Joba Chamberlain Recovering From Ankle Injury

New York Yankees reliever Joba Chamberlain expects to be out of his walking boot in about two weeks, according to the Associated Press.
Chamberlain, who dislocated his right ankle jumping on a trampoline on March 22, has resumed working out at the Yankees’ minor league complex. He played catch today; he says his ankle continues to improve and that his throwing arm is 100 percent.
Chamberlain has also been working to recover from ligament replacement surgery in his elbow; he’s expected back in June.
The hard-throwing righty went 2-0 last season with a 2.83 ERA in 27 appearances. He struck out 24 batters in 28.2 innings.
