Jason Isringhausen signs minor-league deal with Angels





The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed long time relief pitcher Jason Isringhausen to a minor league deal, according to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com.

Details of the contract are not yet known.
Isringhausen, 39, last pitched for the New York Mets in 2011, appearing in 53 games and recording seven saves and 19 holds. Isringhausen also spent time with the St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics, and Tampa Bay Rays in his career.
