Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman James Loney will not face criminal charges stemming from his arrest last year on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Associated Press.

Loney was arrested on Nov. 14 after his Maserati hit three cars on a Los Angeles freeway. Police told the AP that Loney passed out, woke up and attempted to leave.

The city attorney’s office determined there was insufficient evidence to proceed with a case against Loney.
