The San Francisco 49ers have a new president, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN:

49ers anounced Gideon Yu has been named President and Co-Owner. Yu was the Chief Financial Officer of both Facebook and YouTube.

Yu, 40, graduated from Stanford and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He has served of CFO of YouTube and Facebook, and formerly worked as treasurer and senior VP of finance at Yahoo, where he orchestrated over $5 billion in transactions.

Yu had been working with the 49ers for the past year as the team’s chief strategy officer.
