Missouri head football coach Gary Pinkel will be suspended one week after his DWI arrest, ESPN reported Thursday. Pinkel was arrested Wednesday night.

Pinkel will not be able to return to the team until next Thursday, and his salary for the week will be donated to the university’s wellness center which deals with alcohol issues on campus. The school’s athletic director, Mike Alden, met with Pinkel three times Thursday before handing down the penalty.

Defensive coordinator Dave Steckel will coach the team Saturday when it takes on Texas Tech on senior day in Columbia.
