Frank Francisco and the New York Mets have agreed to a two-year deal, according to Newsday‘s Ken Davidoff. The deal will require that Francisco pass a physical.

Earlier Tuesday, the Mets agreed to a deal with Jon Rauch, another reliever, with their sights set on adding more bullpen help. It was unclear whether or not Rauch was brought on as a set-up man or closer, but Davidoff went on to tweet that Francisco will assume the closer’s role for New York.

Francisco will make $12 million a year, according to Fox Sports.

Last season in Toronto, Francisco appeared in 54 games, saving 17.
