A judge dismissed Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams’ case against the NFL, which was based on a six-game suspension the league gave him, according to Profootballtalk.com.

Christine M. Arguello, the judge in the case, dismissed the case granting the NFL’s motion for summary judgment saying she had no authority to overturn the original sentence handed down by the league.

In March, Williams was suspended for six games for failing a drug test after the league said he provided non-human urine samples during testing.

“We are considering an appeal,” Williams’ attorney Peter Ginsberg told Profootballtalk.com.

Williams has had his issues since entering the league in 2004. In 2010, he was arrested for DUI, but the league did not punish him.

Earlier this month, Williams tweeted out his team’s defensive playbook saying he wanted his fans to know “what’s going on with their teams and fav player.”

The Broncos first six opponents in 2012 are the Steelers, Falcons, Texans, Raiders, Patriots, and Chargers.

Suspended Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams tweeted out a photo of his team’s playbook on Friday, saying he has to “learn a new position” and shared it with his more than 10,000 followers, according to thebiglead.com.

It will be a while before he gets to use anything in that playbook because Williams is currently serving a six-game ban for failing a performance-enhancing drug test.

Of course, that tweet is not sitting too well with Broncos fans.

    Here is the complete tweet.

“Dear fans: My post about learning a new position and the fact that our playbooks are now iPad was all for you. I realize fans like to know what’s going on with their teams and fav player.”

Williams, 29, had 90 tackles and five sacks last season.
