Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman says he may not play in Sunday night’s game against the Houston Texans if his wife goes into labor, reports CBS Chicago.

“The wife is due any day, so hopefully this baby can stay in until after the game on Sunday,” Tillman told WSCR-AM, a Chicago radio station. “I hope she stays in – I’m having another girl. Monday, for sure, but if she comes Sunday, I think I’m going to have to be at the hospital Sunday. So, I hope she stays in until after Sunday.”

Tillman, 31, has seven forced fumbles, including four in the Bears’ 51-20 victory against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. He also has two interceptions returned for touchdowns and 43 tackles this season.

Chicago Bears defensive end Julius Peppers has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster today, according to the team’s official Twitter account.

Voted in as a first alternate, Peppers will replace the Super Bowl bound Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

Peppers totaled 11 sacks in 2011, five tackles-for-loss, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.  The 32-year-old is currently tied for third most sacks (100) in the NFL since he was drafted in 2002 by the Carolina Panthers.

While the Bears’ Pro Bowl selected linebackers Brian Urlacher (knee) and Lance Briggs (ankle) will be sidelined due to injuries, running back Matt Forte, cornerback Charles Tillman and special teams standout Corey Graham are expected to play in Hawaii.
