The Golden State Warriors are close to signing restricted free agent Brandon Rush and free agent Carl Landry, reports CSNBayArea.com’s Matt Steinmetz.

The 27-year-old Rush averaged 9.8 points per game last season, his first with the Warriors. He was a key part of the team’s rotation off the bench, and Steinmetz reports that re-signing the small forward has been a priority this offseason.

The 28-year-old Landry averaged 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game with the New Orleans Hornets last season. His best season came in 2009-10 when he averaged 16.8 points per game while playing for the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings.

The Indiana Pacers have traded guard Brandon Rush to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for forward Lou Amundson, according to the Associated Press. The trade was officially announced Monday.

Rush averaged 8.9 points a game over three seasons with the Pacers, but Indiana’s depth in the backcourt made him solid trade bait.

Amundson has played for three teams in his five seasons in the league, averaging just over four points a game.
