The New York Knicks are pursuing a deal with free agent forward Earl Clark, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Clark was cut by the 76ers, who acquired him at last Thursday’s trade deadline. The forward has now cleared waivers to become a free agent.

The Knicks are looking to acquire two defensive minded perimeter players to fill the open roster spots created by the buyouts of Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih on Monday. The team also hosted a work out for guard Dahntay Jones on Tuesday, according to Newsdays Al Iannazzone.

Clark averaged 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds  in 15.5 minutes per game for the Cavaliers this season. If New York signs him, the Knicks will be his fifth team in as many seasons.
