Report: Colts RB Trent Richardson undergoes minor surgery
Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson struggled in 2013 and saw his yards per carry dip below 3.0 after being traded to Indianapolis mid-season. Now his offseason has begun with a minor surgery, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
The procedure was reportedly just a “scope” and shouldn’t impact Richardson’s offseason.
Richardson, the third overall pick in the 2012 draft, was traded just two games into his second season with the Cleveland Browns. In 14 games with the Colts, Richardson rushed for 458 yards and caught 28 passes for 265 yards.
Indianapolis gave up its 2014 first round pick in exchange for the former Alabama star.
