Alexander Bradley, a man who says he was shot in the face by former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez last February in Florida, was shot again over the weekend, reports the Associated Press.

Bradley was shot several times outside of a Connecticut nightclub and then opened fire himself, according to police. He was subsequently arrested on criminal gun possession charges and taken to a hospital where he is expected to survive, the AP reports.

“Evidence revealed there was a disturbance in the club that was pushed outside by staff,” police Lt. Brian Foley said. “At this point, Bradley was shot. Bradley went to a vehicle, got a gun, then shot up the front of the club.”

Bradley sued Hernandez, alleging that he lost his right eye after Hernandez shot him in the face last February after an argument.

Hernandez is currently in jail, accused of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Odin Lloyd last June. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder and several weapons charges.

Only the finest people carry guns and take some lead. Think how nice America would be without the garbage?

Sounds to me like Hernandez may still be calling the shots (pardon the pun) from behind bars in the big house.

What a fine group of people Aaron surrounded himself with. Just lovely.

Obviously this character witness loses credibility for his murder trial, but has nothing do with the case he's sitting in jail for.  Bradley just kissed his payday goodbye.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or be concerned....

I carry a weapon most of the time, and when and if I must draw it, I won't be spraying shots and missing the mark. The fact he was carrying a firearm while having a criminal background is a good indication why he was shot. If you're a criminal carrying a weapon looking to find a reason to use it... Like a criminal would... Chances are VERY GOOD you'll find what you are looking for.

Legal conceal carry citizens DON'T make a practice of carrying a weapon into a bar. Or anyplace where people are drinking and stupid trouble can break out. And from what I have met in most legal CCP citizens is they don't leave someone behind telling they're side of the story. One thing any good lawyer will tell you if you bother to ask before deciding to carry a gun is "You are either in the right and should protect yourself by stopping the threat... Of leave your weapon holstered. You can't take it back once you pull it out"... And there is no reason to leave a criminal with a bad limp behind to file a lawsuit against you... Stop the threat... PERIOD>

Hernandez is going to walk.   If he does, did he get away with murder?   Belichick will give him a job.

Just another goon who knows how to socialize and pick friends. Use the same rope to get rid of both of them

There goes that case against Hernandez. Its looking like he's going to skate through all of these cases and charges... he may not be the world's dumbest criminal after all. LOL

drmuon.... I feel ya... But take a look at other high profile people who have sat in jail for a year or more waiting on they're trail... Most walked... OJ, Casey Anthony, Zimmerman, Robert Blake... Then other High Profiles who may not have sat in jail... but who's defense pushed they're trials out for years... Michael Jackson got cut loose after 2 years waiting for court then disappeared into Saudi Arabia before dying just before his comeback tour. R. Kelly spent 6 years waiting for trial before being acquitted in 2008 of child pornography charges. They had Kelly and Jackson COLD... but after a few years it all died down and witnesses got weak or bought out.

I dunno whether he'll get convicted or not... and I'll keep my opinion of the matter to myself.... I'm just sayin'..... Don't be one bit surprised if the DA doesn't screw the pooch on that case.... Happens in big cases all the time...
