Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin will play in Super Bowl XLVIII after missing the NFC Championship game with a concussion, reports Jayson Jenks of the Seattle Times.

Harvin played only 39 snaps and two games all season and had to leave the field twice during Seattle’s Divisional Round playoff victory against the New Orleans Saints after receiving big hits.

Harvin missed most of the season with a hip injury after having surgery in August, but said the hip feels “pretty good, good enough to play in a football game,” according to the Seattle Times.

“I’m trying to go out there and win a Super Bowl. I’m not trying to save or be a hero,” Harvin said.

“It was unfortunate some of the hits that were caused in the game,” Harvin said, “but I didn’t think they were targeting me.”

The Broncos are in serious trouble now.   Harvin is a game changer.

Harvin will be an effective decoy during the game. I doubt they will throw the ball his way in traffic, but he can stretch the field.

He will be ruled out with a concussion as soon as a 10mph breeze hits his helmet in warmups

And one play into the game, he will have his bell rung again.

Sorry, but he is being stupid now, he needs to sit it out and actually recover.

Oh wait, I forgot, he is a football player, not very bright and his earning potential is only so long, so he needs to be a moron and take shots to the head over and over so that he can sue the NFL in a few years
