The Red Sox have come to terms with outfielder Grady Sizemore, as first reported by Rob Bradford of WEEI.com.

Sizemore was a three-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glove winner with the Indians from 2004-2011 but microfracture surgeries on both knees kept him off the field in 2012 and 2013. He played in only 104 games in 2010 and 2011 combined.

The Reds reportedly were also interested in signing Sizemore.

So Shane Victorino will move to center and will occasionally be spelled by Grady Sizemore

They didn't sign him to be the starting CF. He'll play occasionally to give guys a day off or when the matchup is favorable. At 750K this is a no loose signing.

So when the Reds were going to do this it was a stupid idea. Now the Red Sox sign him and it's front page news? Ridiculous.

It's good the Sox replaced Jacoby Ellsbury with an outfielder who'll stay healthy.

I love Sizemore! Good luck to him! When he was healthy it was like the second coming of Kenny Lofton.

For the Red Sox this looks like a good signing only 750k down with up to 6 Million in incentives. If he pans out great if not not much lost.

@jackman you gotta stick a ;) at the end of the sentence...then again, it's more fun to pull the internet's leg.
