Ducks GM on trading goalie Jonas Hiller: ‘There’s not a chance in hell’
Numerous trade rumors have circulated about Hiller since last summer, and Hiller is set to become an unrestricted free agent after the season.
“There’s not a chance in hell that I’m moving Jonas Hiller,” Murray said to ESPN.com. “I’m tired of hearing about the rumors. I can tell you Jonas is not going anywhere.”
Hiller has a 23-4-4 record and his 23 victories are tied for second in the league. He also has a .934 goals against average, a .914 save percentage and three shutouts this season.
The Ducks lead the NHL with 75 points, have won seven games in a row and 17 of their last 18 contests.
