Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton is a candidate for the Vanderbilt head coaching job, reports’s Adam Schefter.

Hamilton, 39, just completed his first season with the Colts.

Before that arriving in Indianapolis, he was on Stanford’s staff for three seasons. The Colts ranked 15th in total offense this season, tied for 20th in rushing offense and 17th in passing offense.

Vanderbilt is looking to replace James Franklin, who left the school after three seasons to take the head coaching position at Penn State.

Please, take him back to college.

The guy is overrated and the only reason the Colts hired him was because we had a few Stanford players on our roster.
