St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead ended any potential quarterback controversy by saying that Sam Bradford will remain the team’s starter, but he also said the team could consider taking a quarterback later in the draft.

Bradford suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in left knee in October, ending his season.

“As we’ve said, Sam’s our starting QB,” Snead said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “And maybe that’s too way out of the box to take a QB that high.”

Snead also said that the team would be willing to watch the phone line for inquiries about the No. 2 pick in the draft.

KING: Game Plan, Divisional Round

“I think they’re always open,” Snead said. “I don’t want to sit here and go — guess what, we’re trading back no matter what. You’ve always got to prepare for if you’re there and nobody wants to trade.”

I think the Skins want the pick so they can draft a decent QB.

They could trade it to the skins for 3 firsts and a second
