The Daily Record reported Thursday that New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. has been charged with possession of Fubinaca, a synthetic form of marijuana.

Winslow appeared in court Wednesday for a central judicial processing. He was allegedly found with the drug on November 19 in East Hanover, N.J. but police only signed a criminal complaint December 30. Winslow served a four-game suspension earlier this season for a violation of the NFL’s PED policy, which he later claimed may have been due to allergy medication.

And the government says it doesn't waste tax payer money. Maybe they should get paid with synthetic money.

Well, being as that synthetic Marijuana isn't illegal, I don't really understand this story.

Having said that, legal or not, synthetic Marijuana is really dirty and dangerous stuff.  The fact that it even has "marijuana" in the name is almost criminally misleading.  I don't understand what I pro athlete would want with such mess.

This generation Winslow lacks the dignity of his father. That's kind of pathetic.

@ryankw you're right. you don't understand the story.  Synthetic marijuana is absolutely illegal.... Its not same product as those bags of funky herbs you can buy in truck-stops.

@John4 No, his dignity is on par with his old man's. Kellen Winslow Sr. is a racist piece of garbage that lacks any dignity.
