Jets TE Kellen Winslow Jr. charged with possession of synthetic marijuana
The Daily Record reported Thursday that New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. has been charged with possession of Fubinaca, a synthetic form of marijuana.
Winslow appeared in court Wednesday for a central judicial processing. He was allegedly found with the drug on November 19 in East Hanover, N.J. but police only signed a criminal complaint December 30. Winslow served a four-game suspension earlier this season for a violation of the NFL’s PED policy, which he later claimed may have been due to allergy medication.
Winslow caught 31 passes for 388 yards and two touchdowns this season, and will be a free agent this offseason.
