University of Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles is expected to announce on Monday that he will declare for the 2014 NFL Draft, The Orlando Sentinel’s Paul Tenorio reported Sunday.

Bortles will forgo his final year of college eligibility, according to the report, which cites a source with “direct knowledge” of Bortles’ decision.

Bortles could a Top 10 pick in a loaded draft for quarterbacks, and he improved his stock with an impressive showing in leading UCF to a 52-42 Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor. Bortles threw for 3,581 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, while completing 67.8 percent of his passes. He also rushed for 272 yards and six touchdowns.

SI.com’s Peter King spoke with one team that believes Bortles could be the top quarterback taken in the draft. Including Bortles, four quarterbacks could be early picks in the first round — Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater, Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel, and Fresno State’s Derek Carr.
