The Washington Redskins’ search for a new head coach reportedly will include a name from their NFC East rivals. The Redskin are interviewing Dallas Cowboys special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia on Friday, according to Adam Schefter and John Clayton of ESPN.

The report cites Bisaccia’s close relationship to Redskins general manager Bruce Allen.

Bisaccia previously coached in Tampa Bay (2002-10), working as special teams coach, associate head coach and running backs coach.

The Redskins are in the market for a new head coach after Mike Shanahan was fired Tuesday.

Please, take our head coach as well.   If Jerry won't fire them, then at least having other teams take our coaches, makes Jerry find new ones. Take our offensive and defensive coaches as well.

One inept organization with a meddlesome owner looking to hire someone from another organization with a meddlesome owner.

I'm sure this will end well.

At least he knows how to work with a moronic owner.

I am willing to bet that no one, even at a local high school level is asking to interview Jason Garrett!!!! Jones could not give him away even if he wanted to!

Sounds like Jerry has been talking to Danny and  telling him all the benefits of having a puppet coach.

What an under-whelming hire.

Is this an April Fool's joke? Only Daniel Snyder would be trying to poach a coach from Dallas. ROFL

@OnTheRoad in the college ranks you hire head coaches away. Not in the NFL. It is pretty rare and usually involves more than just "sure you can have my coach"

If Garrett ever gets fired, there will be teams lining up to get him, maybe not NFL but college will. Personally I do not think he is an even decent coach, but I would love to see what he could do away from Jerry world

@piizzadude @OnTheRoad Uhh, yeah, I have no idea what Garrett has ever done that would ever warrant a team to seriously look at him for anything other than waterboy. Seriously, qualify what Garrett has done?

@piizzadude At this point in time of Garrett's life as a coach, I can't even see a college hiring him as either an OC or HC! He has not shown anything to anyone that he is that good! And the quicker that Jones realizes this fact and gets a real HC the quicker that the Cowboys can actually move ahead! I admit, it would greatly help if Jones stepped aside and actually hired a GM!

@OnTheRoad @piizzadude He is a name, an NFL coach. Good or bad, they will hire him.

I agree that he should go. I think the OC should have been gone around game 6. Romo never should have gotten an extension.

As a Cowboys hater though, I hope they stay the course.
