USC has officiallly announced the hiring of Washington’s defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox, along with Marques Tuiasosopo and Tim Drevno. The Trojans’ head coach Steve Sarkisian is now nearing the completion of his staff, with just one spot remaining for a defensive line coach.

Tuiasosopo, also from UW, will coach tight ends and Drevno, from the 49ers, will be the offensive line coach.

Wilcox, who was the defensive coordinator at Washington under Sarkisian, was widely rumored to be USC’s next defensive coordinator.

Only Clay Helton, the quarterbacks coach, and wide receivers coach Tee Martin will remain from the current coaching staff. Clancy Pendergast, running backs coach Tommie Robinson and special teams coordinator John Baxter are out.

The Huskies had a defensive coordinator?

As a Husky alumni, I was NOT sorry to see Sarkesian go (think we upgraded considerably) but am VERY sorry to see Wilcox an Tui go.  Actually I'm really surprised about Wilcox - I thought he would end up at Oregon with Aliotti retiring.

@6marK6 Do you actually watch football or do you just go around posting ignorant garbage to make yourself look "clever"?
