Hawks forward Al Horford has torn pectoral, out indefinitely
Horford was injured in last night’s 127-125 double-overtime win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, leaving with a shoulder injury in the first overtime after trying to make a steal.
He suffered a torn left pectoral muscle in January 2012, but returned to the lineup almost four months later.
Horford is averaging 18.6 points and 8.4 rebounds in 29 games for the Hawks this season. The Hawks are the only Eastern Conference team besides Miami and Indiana that have a record above .500.
