Former NFL wide receiver turned broadcaster Randy Moss said if were still playing he could put up “15 or 16 touchdowns.”

Moss, who retired at the end of last season with 156 career receiving touchdowns, eclipsed 15 receiving touchdowns in a season four times during his 14-year career.

“If I had to go out here and feed my family by getting back on that football field, I could still put up 15 or 16 touchdowns,” Moss told Fox Sports. “I can still play the game. I don’t know what a lot of people (saw) last year, but I know what it looked like. It looked like I was old and that they were trying to keep me fresh and things like that, but I can still play the game of football.”

He talks a good game but only played one when he felt like it and that was only about half the time.

Randy Moss still has the skills, the moves, and the hands. Not as much speed, obviously. But most important, he's got a mind for the game, an awareness of what's going on during the chaos of 22 men flying around, most trying to smash into somebody as hard as possible. Moss has a sharper mind for that chaos than most football players will ever have.

Yeah, he could probably catch 15 or 16 touchdown passes, for the right team. I hope he's smart enough to stay in the booth. I like Randy Moss in one piece.

Perhaps, but first, you'd have to learn to keep your mouth shut, Mr Moss.

He should go to North Korea and start a football league... he might catch 15-16 TDs there.

His last few seasons in the NFL say otherwise.

Why is he described as being a "Former NFL" wide receiver in the title of this article?

He is an analyst for Fox Sports.

So the title of the article should be:

Fox Sports analyst Randy Moss: "I could still put up 15 or 16 touchdowns".

See? Being a professional journalist is really that hard...

I believe Randy Moss.  If he knows he can do it, then what he says he can do, he can definitely do.  Knowing is what makes the imaginable happen.

If I was a gm, I wouldn't go anywhere near Moss, or even worse, T.O.

even if they would play for the league minimum.   Bet I'm not alone, either.

Unfortunately you need a team to help you score touchdowns... No takers there.

@Alina : You really ought to consider getting professional help.  There are medications to treat that huge hole in the middle of your head.

@GeorgeNot hard to guess you are not alone when every team was not interested in those two idiots this year.
