Lakers’ Jordan Farmar cleared to play on Christmas
Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Farmar will play in the team’s Christmas day game after being cleared by the team’s medical staff.
Farmar has missed the last 10 games with a hamstring issue, and the Lakers have been decimated by injuries lately, with Kobe Bryant heading back to the sideline for at least six weeks with fractured bone in his knee, Steve Nash out indefinitely with nerve damage in his back, and Steve Blake, Pau Gasol, and Chris Kaman all missing games with various ailments.
The Lakers are hoping Farmar’s return will spark the team to victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
INJURY UPDATE: @JrFarmar’s ultrasound showed that his hamstring is completely healed.
He is cleared to play.—
