Dodgers manager Don Mattingly thinks Matt Kemp will be ready for spring training
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said that he thinks Matt Kemp will be ready for spring training after two off-season surgeries, according to Ken Gurnick of Dodgers.com.
Kemp had a pair of surgeries in October to repair an injured ankle and his non-throwing shoulder, injuries which kept him from being able to play for the Dodgers in the postseason. He also had an operation on the same shoulder near the end of the 2012 season.
The two-time All-Star has been the subject of trade talks this off-season, and could be moved by the Dodgers during the current winter meetings.
