The NFL has chosen to place the Chicago Bears-Philadelphia Eagles game into its Sunday night slot, replacing the previously planned game between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.

NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal reports that the league will use its ‘flex game’ option to showcase the Chicago-Philadelphia contest on a national stage.

Both the Bears and the Eagles are in the thick of divisional playoff races in the NFC North and NFC East respectively.

The Eagle's are just starting to gel as a team. Coach's included. This is a dangerous team. I'm 40+ yrs. Eagles fan. This team will blow you out, now that the defense is coming together. All is new, but, it's finally coming together.

I guess I'd rather watch the Chi/Phi game than the NE/Bal game. Especially if it snows in Philadelphia. It's always fun watching the Eagles fans have a snowball riot.

@Frotoon There was 8" of snow at the last game and there was no snowball riot so I don't know what you're talking about.
