Bulls guard Derrick Rose out vs. Raptors with sore hamstring
Rose suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s 96-81 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
He received treatment this week but did not practice in the days leading to the game.
“He’s improved, but he’s still not quite there, so we’ll see where he is [Saturday],” Thibodeau said to Comcast Sports Net Chicago. “Each day, he’s gotten better, so we just want to make sure. So we’ll see where it is and we don’t want to skip over things. I hate to speculate because we don’t know.”
Rose is averaging 14.6 points and 4.5 assists this season for the Bulls.
“They’re still leaving it up to me to go out there,” Rose said. “See how [it] goes, and if it’s any tightness or soreness there’s no point to go out there and play. But if I go out there and it loosens up, I think I’ll be playing.”
