Vernon Davis exits early with concussion
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis exited Sunday’s game early against the Carolina Panthers. He will be evaluated for a concussion after he hit his head against the turf, according to FOX sideline reporter Laura Okmin.
Davis was examined on the sideline by trainers before leaving the field.
He caught one pass for two yards before exiting the game. San Francisco will use Vance McDonald in Davis’ absence.
Per the 49ers, TE Vernon Davis is out for the rest of the game with a concussion.—
