The Buffalo Bills have released quarterback Matt Flynn, according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports.

Flynn had been signed by the Bills as a backup last month after being cut by the Raiders, but with rookie QB E.J. Manuel coming back from injury on Monday, Buffalo no longer had need for Flynn’s services.

Buffalo was Flynn’s third team in the past 12 months. The former Green Bay backup signed a $26 million contract, with $10 million guaranteed, with Seattle before the 2012 season but lost the starting job to rookie Russell Wilson in training camp and was traded after the season.

Thanx for proving it's the system and not the QB. Rodgers = Flynn.

Not a bad way to make $10 million bucks.  He didn't have to do a damn thing.  Played one big game against Detroit and got some cash.
