Former Philadelphia Phillies teammates Mitch Williams and Lenny Dysktra reportedly were not in the mood for a friendly reunion this weekend.

During some autograph-signing events at a mall outside of Philadelphia last weekend, Dysktra and another former teammate, Darren Daulton, were chatting when Williams approached them, reports Tom Mahon of the Philadelphia Daily News.

Dysktra stuck his hand out to greet Williams, and Williams pushed his hand away.

More from Philly.com:

A tweet from @realphillyink reported that “Mitch slapped his [Dykstra's] hand away and pushed him and said to Dykstra get the [bleep] out of my way. Dykstra said ‘Mitch, I was just trying to say hi.’

Wild Thing asks Daulton, who has brain cancer, how he’s feeling.

The two chat and Wild Thing begins to walk away. At that point on the video, it’s difficult to tell if Williams says something to Dykstra, but Lenny says, “Hey, don’t apologize.”

Williams then walks back toward Dykstra and says, “Dude, it’s on camera. All you do is run your [bleeping] head.

All three played on the Phillies team that lost the 1993 World Series to the Toronto Blue Jays. Williams served up the walk-off home run to Joe Carter in Game 6 that ended the series.

Dykstra's psycho. I don't blame Mitch for wanting to check up on Daulton without wanting to have anything to do with Dykstra. If Mitch _had_ shaken his hand, it would've made news and been a scandal.

How difficult would it be to behave civilly, especially, at an event organized for fans of the game?  Plus, you're getting paid to be there???   Everyone knows what Lenny Dykstra is all about.  Now, we know what Mitch Williams is about, too.

Just Wondering - How did Mitch get hired as an expert analyst at MLB?  He's got a playing record like Brandel Chamblee over on the Golf Channel.   11 Seasons with 6 different teams;  winning 45 and losing 58 games; and never winning anything.  Sure, he was selected an All-Star one time, but MLB has had plenty of one time All Stars.  He is best known for running his mouth then providing an inadequate post season performance, culminating in giving up a series ending home run to Joe Carter.

With all the retired Championship and Hall of Fame talent available,  you have to wonder how the Williams and Chamblee's of the world continue to get hired in today's sports world.   They have no credibility to their commentary.

Lenny used to run a Car Wash near where I lived. Guy loved the 14 year olds. Too bad for him the cops didn't feel the same way.

I surprised Dykstra hasn't been disappeared....he ripped off some many people. The cops would be questioning suspects for years.

Anyone who makes Dykstra's life even remotely difficult for a minute deserves a pat on the back.

You slap his hand away because he's probably reaching for your wallet.

Dykstra probably cheated him out of money also.

Mitch could have handled it better, but thats not what makes mitch, mitch. Dykstra has burned sooooo many people in the last 20 years, who knows what hes done to mitch behind the scenes. I loved "nails" as a player when i was a teenager. But that dude is just one bad, piece of poop. He scammed so many people out of millions of dollars, and blew it all on garbage. He was stealing money from his mom, siblings, kids. That dude should be locked away for life.

Mitch should of handled it better. he could of just say Lenny honestly i have nothing to say to you . This was provoked by Mitch . You could just act more mature you do not have to like the guy but do not have to make a fuss over this just be candid. and tell him i am not interest in what you have to say one way or another and talk to Dalton.  Grow up Mitch.

These guys could play for todays Phillies team despite being in their 50s. The team is just that bad.

@DougRoberts Williams is actually a very good commentator. Go whine about something else somewhere else.

@DougRoberts You said it yourself, he "runs his mouth" - TV commentary is not just about talent on the field, it is about the talent of saying something controversial with style.  Williams pulls in the meathead demographic and does it well.

@NoThanksESPNFacebook He owned the Car Wash but did not run it. His family ran the business and paid him a salary. He also sold the business out from underneath his family and left them all without jobs. The family was paying Lenny 100k a year to do nothing. It was the only successful thing he owned but the success of the business had nothing to do with him. If he had simply left the business alone it would still be operating and he would still be collecting his 100k for doing nothing.

@NoThanksESPNFacebook I have been to the car wash in Simi Valley a few times, and am no fan of Lenny since his criminal actions became public, but I don't get your reference to 14 year olds.
