Arizona Cardinal’s GM Steve Keim is denying reports that the team is looking to trade star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald after the 2013 season, according to NFL.com.

Talk that the Cardinal’s were putting their All-Pro receiver on the block after the season has flared up recently, but Keim says he intends to keep Fitzgerald in Arizona:

“I have not had one conversation regarding a trade with Larry Fitzgerald,” general manager Steve Keim told 620 AM in Arizona. “We have every intent to have Larry Fitzgerald retire as a Cardinal. Period.”

KING: Matthew Stafford’s comeback over Dallas Cowboys a coming-of-age moment

Fitzgerald says he is staying focused on doing his job in each game and helping his team win and not worrying about the trade talk:

‘I come to work every day and just focus on how I can help the Arizona Cardinals and help my team win. If they decide to move me, that happens. I have no control over any of that.’

EAGLE: NFL trade rumors: Jared Allen available? Josh Gordon staying in Cleveland?

Fitzgerald became the youngest receiver in NFL history to reach 800 career catches on Sunday, in the Cardinals’ 27-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

GM denies it - pack your bags Larry!

Larry should be worth a couple of starting offensive linemen which would probably give them a couple more wins this season than keeping Larry.

If the AZ Cardinals really cared about Fitz getting in the HOF they would trade him.  Granted he is collecting big paychecks but sad fact of the week is Megatron has more yards in the last two weeks than Larry has all year.  One of the greatest wastes of talent in modern NFL history.  I really think he is just as good as Megatron.  He is slower and a little bit smaller but has better hands and is also stronger.  Along with Welker the best WR hands in the NFL.

Arizona's GM HAS to deny the rumors. If he admits they're true, he drives the asking price down from potential suitors. As for the Bidwell family caring what the fans think, they showed how little they care after gutting the team's roster after the loss in the Super Bowl a few years ago. They have no loyalty to anyone but themselves!

We'd welcome you with open arms in San Fran, Larry...or Santa Clara.

Fitz ain't going anywhere.  He is way too beloved in AZ for the Cards to ever trade him unless he asks for it.  Until that happens, he is not going anywhere.   The fans would revolt if they traded him.

Here are the only two scenarios I could see a trade happening.  Fitz for Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews or Fitz for Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham.  Since neither will ever happen, neither will a trade.

@YuckDaFankees Why should it be the concern of the Cardinals organization to get LF into the Hall of Fame.  Their job is to win games and draw fans not worry about the accolades that a player gets after his career ends.

@IndependentsDay Fitz is not worth a franchise QB alone.  He might worth a star defensive player only
