NBA suspends Suns forward Markieff Morris one game

The NBA has suspended the Suns’ Markieff Morris one game for elbowing the Thunder’s Serge Ibaka in the head during their preseason game Tuesday.

Morris got his elbow up while attempting to block Ibaka out of the lane following a Reggie Jackson free throw.

The Suns will be without their starting power forward in their Oct. season-opener against the Trail Blazers.
