The Philadelphia 76ers figure to be one of the worst teams in the NBA this season.

Now their first-round draft pick’s season could be in doubt.

Sixers head coach Brett Brown said that rookie center Nerlens Noel could miss the entire season while he rehabs from a torn ACL suffered in college.  Brown also said that Noel’s progress from the injury has been “slow.”

Noel was expected to miss a good portion of the season because of the injury.

Noel tore the ACL in February and then was selected with the No. 6 pick in the NBA Draft after the 76ers traded point guard Jrue Holiday to the New Orleans Pelicans.  The Pelicans also gave the Sixers a 2014 first-round pick in the trade.

What is going on in Philadelphia? The Sixers keep making mistakes after mistakes, especially recruiting NN...He found a sucker in the Sixers, take the money and run...or in his case hobble. Another Odum situation and the management in the Sixers organization needs to hit the road and get peole in there who can put a team together.

@Baldeagle  Philly is just benching Noel so that they can complete their quest to super-tank this season.  I don't think he's that injured.
