A pair of Dallas Cowboys starters will mostly likely miss Sunday’s NFC East showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.

ESPN.com’s Todd Archer reports that Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware, who has a quadriceps strain, and leading rusher DeMarco Murray, who sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee, are unlikely to play.

Ware is expected to be out three to four weeks.

Both were injured in the Cowboys’ 31-16 victory over the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Ware has not missed a game since coming into the NFL eight seasons ago, making 133 starts in that time. He has four sacks and one interception this season.

Murray, who vowed in May that he was going to play all 16 games this season, is eighth in the NFL with 428 yards and has scored three touchdowns.

Dallas and Philadelphia are tied atop the NFC East at 3-3.
