Milwaukee Bucks’ center Ekpe Udoh will miss 4-6 weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on his knee on Friday, according to ProBasketballTalk.

The 6’10″ Udoh was expected to backup Bucks’ starting center Larry Sanders, but had yet to play so far this preseason due to a lingering knee injury. Milwaukee is hopeful the surgery will alleviate the issue, as their only other option at center is Zaza Pachulia, who is still recovering from the achilles injury he suffered at the end of last season.

Mahoney: Jason Terry, Metta World Peace, among Eastern Conference X-Factors

Udoh is in his 5th season in the league and his 3rd with Milwaukee.
