Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will miss the team’s game next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Vick was hurt in Sunday’s win against the New York Giants. He left the game late in the second quarter after suffering a hamstring injury while scrambling for a 13-yard gain.

Vick will be replaced by Nick Foles, who threw for almost 200 yards and two touchdowns in Vick’s absence. Despite Foles’ performance, Eagles (2-3) head coach Chip Kelly said that Vick will remain the team’s starting quarterback when he is healthy.

“It’s frustrating,” Vick said, according to ESPN.com. “I never question why things happen, I never question God. It’s a little sore. I’ve been standing up the last two hours. I need to get treatment. I’ve had this type of injury before.”

Fox Philadelphia’s Howard Eskin has reported that the injury may keep Vick on the sidelines the following week as well.

Vick has not played a full regular season since 2006, when he was still with the Atlanta Falcons. That also came before he spent nearly two years in prison. Vick played in only 10 games of the Eagles’ failed 2012 season. Foles replaced him and made the final six starts of last season.
