Michael Vick leaves game with hamstring injury
Michael Vick left the field in the first half of the Eagles game against the Giants on Sunday with an apparent hamstring injury.
Vick grabbed his hamstring after running with the ball but stayed on the field to complete the Eagles drive. He left the field and was replaced by Nick Foles for the remainder of the game.
Foles kept the lead handed off to him by Vick and added two fourth quarter TD’s. The Eagles went on to win 36-21 at New York.
After the game, Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly stated the starting job would remain Vick’s as long as he was healthy.
