Report: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw might need neck surgery
Bradshaw was injured in Week 3 and did not play in last week’s victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. ESPN is reporting that Bradshaw will travel to Arizona for another medical evaluation on his neck.
Trent Richardson and Donald Brown have been picking up the slack for the Colts, who have the league’s fourth-ranked rushing offense, averaging 149.5 yards per game.
“I’m planning on him being around,’’ Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said. “Certainly he won’t be at practice. We’ve made some adjustments for that.
“Once we get some feedback, once we get some answers, then we’ll know more.’’
Bradshaw has 186 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with the Colts. He signed to a one-year that could be worth as much as $2 million.
