Michael Jordan: I could have beaten LeBron James one-on-one
A promotional video for the NBA 2K14 game to be released on Tuesday includes Michael Jordan saying he could have beaten LeBron James in a one-on-one game in his prime.
In the video, Jordan reveals a long list of past and present NBA players whom he would have liked to have played one-on-one including Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Julius Erving, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant and James.
Jordan predicts James could be beaten, but he might lose to Bryant because he has stolen MJ’s moves.
“I don’t think I would lose,” Jordan said in the video, before smiling and adding, “Other than to Kobe Bryant because he steals all of my moves.”
Jordan, a five-time NBA Most Valuable Player and a six-time NBA champion, has promoted 2K Sports since 2011, when he first appeared on the cover of the popular game. He shared the cover in 2012 with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. James appears on the cover of this year’s NBA 2K14 game for the first time.
