San Diego Chargers rookie inside linebacker Manti Te’o will make his NFL debut Sunday in a home game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple media reports.

Te’o injured his foot in the Chargers preseason opener in August and has not played since.

According to The Darren Smith Show on The Mighty 1090 Sports Radio, Te’o said he’s “ready to go.”

Chargers head coach Mike McCoy said Te’o fully participated in practice on Wednesday.

Te’o was selected by the Chargers with the 38th overall pick in April’s NFL Draft, after a celebrated senior campaign at Notre Dame, in which he recorded 113 tackles, 1.5 sacks and seven interceptions.

Lennay will support him no matter how many tackles he misses.

The Cowboys will own him! This is a seriously overrated player who should be saving all his money!!

@Jon8 : As a Charger fan, I wasn't sold, and the jury is still out on Te'o. I'm reserving judgment on how good he is until after he plays. I don't think he was overrated in college. He was definitely one of the Top 5 defensive players in the country his last season at Notre Dame.

@Jon8 I tend to agree. I think he will be outclassed early and often.
