Report: Knicks, Nets to jointly host 2015 NBA All-Star Game

The NBA is expected to announced Wednesday that the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets will together host the 2015 NBA All-Star Game in New York, according to multiple reports on Twitter.

The league has called a press conference for tomorrow, where officials will officially announce the news.

Newsday‘s Al Iannazzone reports that Madison Square Garden will host the game itself and the Barclays Center will host the preliminary events.

The NBA All-Star Game last was held in New York in 1998. The 2014 game will take place in New Orleans.

Why old decrepit MSG is going to be the host for anyhting at all.. Barclays is new and expansive and modern. Oh, Manhattan is the home of the NBA offices. Can't ship the all star stuff to Brooklyn and not include manhattan. Blasphemy. LOL, I don't care either way, I cannot afford to go anyway.

@bees31ballard Expansive? Barclays is tiny compared to MSG. And yeah, I'm sure it's because of the NBA offices. Not because it's the mecca of basketball or anything.
