Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis says everything is fine with him and coach Greg Schiano, despite reports that Revis had issues with the second-year coach.

According to NFL.com., Revis met with Schiano for about 15 minutes Tuesday “to clear (the) air.”

The four-time Pro Bowler said he’s simply frustrated over the Bucs’ 0-2 start and has no issues with the coach or how he’s been used in Tampa Bay’s defense. It was reported that Revis had issues with Schiano’s strict approach and the team’s use of the zone defense.

The Buccaneers have lost their first two games by a combined three points.

So he had problems with the coaches with the Jets and swore up and down he's a good guy. Gets traded like he wanted....and his first year in Tampa, he's having problems with the coaches there. But I'm sure it's not his fault....again

Between Schiano and Revis, I bet that if anyone is leaving first, it would be Schiano because TB has alot more invested in Revis.  I'm sure Revis set Schiano straight during that meeting because Schiano's job relies on Revis' performance and not the other way around.

You don't pay Revis the money he is getting to play him in a zone.  Talk to the Eagles about spending money on a CB and not using him to his strengths.  That is like telling Peyton you wanna run the option or telling Jerome Bettis to run outside more.  I expect more out of Schiano, although none of the Baby Belis have done squat as head coaches.

Schiano is going to implode like Morris did in Year 2. Ugly.

Schiano wants to be Tom Coughlin, but Coughlin won everywhere. He had better start winning WITH Freeman and Revis and whoever else is there or the fans and the team will turn against him. Conflicts your QB (the leader on offense) and the highest paid player (highly respected free-agent signing)? He's on the wrong path already and just added another hurdle - sinking morale - to the list of challenges on the way to winning. I'm thinking he wont last past next season.

Hi, my name is Darelle Revis and I am very overrated. You can thank the tub of lard in NY for that, along with my silly nickname.  My best days are behind me and I need some attention. Thanks for complying.

Schiano was supposed to bring discipline to this team, and so far the biggest problem is that we have no discipline. The offense hasn't been able to get into anything that would vaguely resemble a rhythm, we have had over 100 yards of penalties in the first two games which shows how little discipline there is. He wasn't great at Rutgers and I think the Bucs went with him because everyone else said no (including Chip Kelly). He has too much ego for someone who hasn't produced and not winning with a team with talent. He's a bum, send him back to the NCAA.

Of course Revis is happy to be in Tampa. He is getting paid $16 million. So far for 5 tackles and zero interceptions. The problem with Revis Island is that one can easily navigate around it. Paying a cornerback $16 million is insanity and a perfect example of why the Bucs are utterly dysfunctional. $400,000 per tackle seems a tad high. Schiano and Revis deserve each other - both are over rated.

Given the prior reports of Schiano having issues with Freeman and his supporters, this is not a good sign if it has any truth to it.  Coaching pro's is very different from coaching collegians.

@WHO*IS*ESPN What's this? Nothing racist to add to your comments? You must have missed your morning coffee (or actually taken the right prescription today).

@WHO*IS*ESPN Once again you have no idea what you are talking about. Not only do you need to read these articles but you must also comprehend them as well. Try Larping, it's perfect for people with limited mental capacity.

@WilyCoyoteSuperGenius Have you ever played or watched a football game?  Ever?  I mean, do you know what a cornerback does?  If your cornerback is piling up tackles, that's not a good thing.  And here's something else for your super genius mind to process.  Making an offense have to navigate around a player is a very big deal.  Especially when that's usually their best wide receiver who Revis essentially removes from a game when he's being used correctly.

It's also hard to get interceptions when the ball isn't coming your way.  Whether you like it or not, Revis is the best cornerback in football.

I'm not so sure Schiano is overrated either. I don't think anyone has him rated as anything other than one of the worst coaches in the league.
